The Shirpur Peoples Co-operative bank was established in 1996 in Shirpur town. The main motive of the bank is to suffice the financial needs & to have a habit of savings to the citizens & villagers in the nearby areas of the Shirpur Tehsil.

At present, the bank is serving from eight branches spread across the state of Maharashtra. The area of operations is extended to Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, Thane, Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai & Mumbai (Entire Districts).
